Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
This policy explains what My Barista Friend (the iPhone app and the website at mybaristafriend.com, run by Incline DMA LLC, "we") collects and what we do with it. We've kept it short and in plain English.
What we collect
Account information. When you create an account we store your email address (or the private relay address from Sign in with Apple) and a unique account ID. If you add a first name in settings, we store that too.
Your favorites and settings. The recipes you favorite, and your app preferences, so they sync between your iPhone and the web.
Birthday, only if you open a cocktail recipe. Cocktail recipes are for people 21 and over, so we ask for your birthday once. It stays on your device unless you choose to save it to your account.
Subscription status. Purchases on iPhone are processed by Apple. We receive whether your subscription is active and which plan you're on. We never see your card number or billing address.
Basic diagnostics. App version, device type and crash information, so we can fix bugs.
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos or browsing history, and we don't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
Only to run My Barista Friend: to sign you in, sync your favorites, unlock your subscription, answer support emails and improve the app using overall usage patterns.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We use a few service providers to run the app, and they only get what they need:
- Apple: App Store purchases and Sign in with Apple
- Google Firebase: stores your account and favorites
- RevenueCat: keeps track of whether your subscription is active
- Cloudflare: hosts the website
Storage and security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep it while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.
Your choices
You can see, update, export or delete your data. Use Settings in the app or email dakota@inclinedma.com and we'll respond within 7 days.
Children
My Barista Friend is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
